I just looked the song up on Wikipedia. It says it's possible that the song could have been recorded as many as 500 times by various artists. The Righteous Brothers is the most famous, but Elvis actually sun t on his final live performance as well, and that seems to be prtty memorable to a lot of people.

And then ---- bands like U2 go and destroy it.
