How can I make my Garmin alert me about speed traps

Ive just bought one and I thought that I would be alerted to the presence of all speed traps on my route.

Presumably this is not the case?

So I have now realised that I need to download POI alerts from internet.

Do I have to buy these or can I get these for free from somewhere?

No idea this technology existed. Aside from radar detectors. My speed traps change pretty often though.

Theres a website where as long as you're active they'll send them to you. You have to have an active account for 2 weeks. OOOOOR you can pay for it.

This is illegal in some countries, plus that I'm not sure if a GPS supports this.
