help needed in forum hosting

i am planning to build a community forum. i want to know how can i place google ads or other banner ads of my choice in the forum . i want to make it the same way as this very own forum.
can i do this with phpbb??
i want to place google ads/banners at the side column and below every post.
please guide me in this as it would be only source of income for the forum hosting..
please help me regarding this as i am unaware of this...

to place your ad in the upper part of your phpbb forums, edit your overall_header.tpl.
