gym vs sport

I've been offered a free yearly pass to the Sydney Football Stadium gymnasium, I myself have always been a basketball playing rollerblading bike riding sort of exersiser and have never quite understood the gym scene with all the posing and showing off, it really doesn't appeal to me at all,

so do I take a shotgun and blast anyone that shits me???

wear a walkman the whole time and avoid the fools???

or decline the pass and stick to sport???

Accept, give it to someone who wants it. Pick a random person on the street and give it to them. :classic2:

why would they shit you? if you're talking about strength training, then take it. strength training will improve your sport... who cares what others think, just do your own business and get the most out of it.. usually the gym isn't full of people in top shape anyway.

plus the nice chicks there should be enough motivation to improve yourself..

there are two rows of treadmills and excercise bikes at the gym I go to. I always park myself in the second row behind a female with a nice ---.

the gym can improve you sport, and if you go there to work out, then you wont have to deal with the posers.

you guys don't sound like you know what gyms are like in sydney...every single one i've been to (say about 8 over the last 15 years) end up being horrible, stuck-up, elitist, cliche, clicky, bitchy...they are just not very nice places for anyone with at least a moderate intellect

i agree with notnamed...find someone who would really love it and give it to them..you'll make them really happy, and keep yourself happy with your fresh-air outdoor sports

thanks for your thoughts people :D

I'm gonna give it a try and see if I like it :classic2: ya never know if ya never go a!!!!

I'll post my thoughts later in the week;)
