Hello,

I would like to request a free radio stream hosting. My request is this:
Icecast or Shoutcast
If it is Icecast I need:
15-30 slots (or more if you are so generous :D )
25kbps @ 22050khz (OGG)

If it is shoutcast i need
15-20 slots
48kbps @ 44100khz (Mp3Pro)

(Though, I prefer Icecast)

I'll link to the hoster's site on the radio's site. The site opened 2 days ago, and we already have 30 unique visitors with 150 pageviews.

I could also advertise you on the radio.
The radio doesnot have any paid advertising on the stream, and neither will have. It only "advertises" the stream name every 5 songs.

Anyone who could help me?

I am trying the stacja service, after 15 minutes of trying to signup due to the language :p

If not, hecky i'll contact you if the offer is on...

Well, I want as many users possible, but the maximum bitrate i'll use is 40kbps @ 22050KHz!

Add me on your msn ( support700[at]hotmail[dot]com ) to have a talk about this :)

May I have some too?

May I use some free stream hosting too? I would like as many max. listeners as I can get and overall I would need 175kbp/s as I am doing a WMA stream which uses different bitrates depending on how fast the listeners Internet is... If you could offer me this I would be very thankful! EMAIL: jackdunn[at]inbox[dot]com

P.S. I think I'de need a max of 20 listeners to start off with.

The only one I can think of who might MAYBE be able
to do that for you is GotCanyons.Net ....

I know that the owner allows some video streaming so he may or may not
be opposed to running a radio station.

You will have to contact them and ask about that.

Thanks for the referral AMZ.

Interesting looking at the badwidth required:
If you want to broadcast to 100
listeners at 24kbps, you'll need about 24kbps*100 = 2,400kbps = 2.4Mbps
of bandwidth. That's about 2 T1 lines worth of bandwidth.

OP request would require:
48Kpbs*20=960Kbps=Almost 1Mbps worth of transfer.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
