XP has not slowed my comp at all it boots up faster then when i have ME

i upgraded from MinME to XP no problems all i had to do was update my dvd decoder at the most it has been using 7% of my cpu that with a lot of crap running too. uses win2000 drivers and/ or win me. system specs: AMD t-bird 1.33gh 266 fbus Asus a7a266 pc-2100 256mb ati all in wonder...
