say i had a mysql script with 300+ concurent users accessing the mysql database (4 querys each) and this was every day, what kind of server would i need for that would this be ok ? Dual Intel 1000Mhz 1GB ram PC100/133Mhz SDRAM 36GB(3) SCSI RAID5 hard drives

Which is best mysql_connect or mysql_pconnect, for a script which does alot of database querys each day from different people

the dns hasnt moved over yet i was looking at my site from the ip they gave me, but it all works now ready for the dns to update

i did that and its up i also did DirectoryIndex index.php3

the point is i have hundreds of links on peoples websites / search engines which all lead to .php3 pages :( so there is a good tip for anyone always email the host first and ask if it will work !

LOL on there site is says support from PHP which i need but when i uploaded my script which is in .php3 they dont support that
