I agree with you, relative to the majority that is (and in the modern world rather than ancient Greece or something), but it's also true that being stupid is normal and intelligence is an anomaly.

Anyhow, as far as uniqueness to humans, don’t a lot of animals show some bisexual behavior? Or they just try anything that moves (or doesn't), however you prefer to look at it. :p

I won't say that homosexuals don't have any problems in Europe, they have. But they sure are accepted in many countries, both officially and by most people.

Hey GC, do you want to see some pictures from a photo exhibition that almost caused a small riot a couple of years ago? It's called "Ecce Homo" and is by a female (lesbian) photographer. It kind of portraits Christ's life and death as if he had lived to day. All the models are explicitly gay and there are nude scenes too (!!!).

The Arch Bishop let it be shown in churches all over the country, starting in our dome. Later it went on a world tour, making people go berserk. :p Alas, I didn't get to see it live. Anyway, I'm an atheist, but I didn't find the pictures offensive, even if provocative, in the good sense of the word.

When somebody says "Europe", France and England automatically pops into my mind. Spain is one of the last countries I would think of. Italy comes somewhere inbetween.

Why would Spain not come to mind? They are the fastest growing economies in Europe...
 
If something is inbetween in that mix it would be France. :p
