We are offering ONE lucky user a chance to win a free VPS, that will be active until 28th October 2012, that's just under 8 months of service. So what do I have to do to get the VPS I hear you say? Well, just follow these simple instructions:

1. Post "I WANT A FREE VPS" in the thread http://forum.ihubhost.net/Thread-win-a-free-vps to say you would like to take part.
2. Refer your friends to iHubHost using your referral link that can be found at http://forum.ihubhost.net/refer.php or in your User CP.
3. Get them to post in the thread http://forum.ihubhost.net/Thread-win-a-free-vps "I WAS REFEREED BY ..." to say that you referred them.
4. Get AT LEAST 1 referals to the forums.

This will be based on a points system, and here is how many points you will get for each:

1 point for each sign up.
3 points if they sign up to a P2H web hosting plan with us.
6 points if the sign up for our paid hosting (user must pay the invoice)
2 additional points for every 4 refferals.

So, if you refer 6 users to the forums, 3 just sign up to the forums, 1 orders a P2H package and 2 order a paid package, then you would receive 22 points.

RULES:

1. You must have at least 5 QUALITY posts.
2. You MUST get your referals to post in this thread for them to count.
3. You MUST NOT create accounts to boost your points.
4. You MUST NOT have any warnings.

Best of all, even your referrals can take part in the contest!

We will be showing a points leader board at the end of this post so you can all keep track of who is winning

I can assure you, this is not fake, we are only giving one VPS away as a competition. I can gaurentee that the winner will receive their VPS.

You're right, you can't expect to get a free VPS permanently. Somebody has to pay for it, and unlike free shared hosting, where you can cram 1000 users on a cheap server, you can't do that with VPS. If you want a VPS permanently, then pay for it, and stop trying to get other people to pay for your hosting.

He is not offering this VPS permanently. Looks like it's some VPS from Burst.net that was probably purchased for a year, and now is not being used anymore for whatever reason.
