Lame, no, I would feel lame if I was going there to get action, if I wanted to really hook-up with a girl or get laid I'd be going somewhere else. This was just to have some fun, I didn't even get a stiffy during my lap-dance, not even a chode, I guess it's fun because it's somewhat of a comical experience...
I can understand how some people, probably even most people wouldn't feel right about going into a place like this. To be honest, seeing women crawl on their knees around the stage to pick up dollar bills is a little bit sad...

I've been to a strip club once. It was fun, but not really erotic. Well, the strippers were friggin hot, but I don't recall getting an erection (and it usually doesn't take much). Hell, after a few drinks, you kind of forget that there are naked women up on stage.

Well just don't let any girls see you emerging from a strip club. Trust me, we think it's pathetic. It comes across as 'I can't get sex so I have to pay for it'. Obviously I know not all guys going there are like that.. Well, you just look like it is all.

Actually my friend met his girlfriend at a strip club, she was a waitress there, they just run around serving drinks and cleaning the poles after so many strippers dirty them up.
They were in a relation ship for a few years before he moved out of town.
But I think your mostly right Chips+, most girls do think it's pathetic and I can understand why but I don't think all females realize that Men wish we could find woman to visit strip clubs, and women, probably in majority want men that don't.

If you emerge from a strip club alone, you're in trouble. If you're there in a big group, the assumption is it's a bachelor party, and that's just the standard. Obviously at least one guy there doesn't have a problem getting girls, considering he's engaged. And a strip club isn't sex either. Just nudity. It is pretty lame when people go there just to get a mental image for when they're stroking it later, I will agree with you there.
I don't know, I'm personally more of a pub person, but if you're drunk enough, strip bars can be fun too

Not really, a really large part of the female population are more open to it these days. I have taken GF's to strip clubs and paid for them to get lap dances so they know how to give me one
You should go try it. You might get a surprise and find yourself turned on
