To Peo: Forum Suggestions

Peo,

Here are some ideas:

01. turn the web design into a category and add these forums:
- HTML Board
- PhotoShop/PSP Help
- Flash 4 Help
- General Webdesign

02. Technology board for tech news

03. Computer help board.

04. movie/music board

05. add the above and get rid of general

06. get rid of the 'post to get to be a `member` board' err i mean test board. it's useless if you can edit posts....


These are just some suggestions

I think there are too many righ now, it just makes it more complicated.

And if you were going to add in all of them you'd have to make a Video Gaming board, just for the fun of it

I believe that is what a general board is there for.

I mean it's the same thing as placing a free webspace forum on a video gaming site.

I think you're forgetting that this site is in essence about FWP's and everything else is just an extra. So I don't think music/video would fit in... heh.

How about a Newbie Board??? Where people can learn how to use this site (like Power Search) and get general information? A "hi there, here's what we do" kinda of thing.

So why do we have a Paid Hosting board, HTML/Webdesign, CGI/PHP/ASP, and ad reveue Board? I mean, does paid hosts have anything to do with Free Webspace? NOPE.

He said that this is a FWP site and that a PhotoShop board (which was a suggestion I made out of bordem[sp?]) is not needed and then said we should be happy we have a general board and what I ment was if he's so conviced that this site should only pertain to free webspace then why do we have a paid host, etc etc etc board? They don't have anything to do with free webspace...

I hate it when boards try to be everything to everyone. Better doesn't equal more forums covering more topics. The best boards are ones that focus on one thing.
