For some people, finding a suitable website hosting provider and uploading a web page can be a daunting task because they lack the Jargon understanding. This eBook, although extremely short, is designed to make it a simplified process.

I haven't purchased or read the ebook so this is not a review, but the idea sounds brilliant. We can easily forget that most people have never used cPanel and could use a primer like this.

These devices are not supported:

iPad
iPod Touch
iPhone
Blackberry
TouchPad or WebOS devices (Palm Pre/Pixi, HP Veer etc)
Kindle
Any Android phone or Tablet
Windows Phone 7 (including Mango)
B&N Nook

What devices ARE supported?

Make it free!

Why?

LP-Trel, it's an EPUB. Of course it is supported. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be working on my iPad. But the alternative supported platform to read it on is Adobe Digital Edition, which is downloaded for free.

Hi Dan,

I could be mistaken. Please review the following and let us know which devices are really compatible. I have edited the above post (I can't edit the quote that someone else posted) so compatibility can come directly from the author.

On the page you have linked to above, http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/the-everyday-idiots-guide-to-web-hosting/17989072, the website has a link that reads "What's the difference between formats?" directly above the "Add to cart" button. This leads to the bottom of the page where we find another link that reads: "(see all)" under "Windows PC/PocketPC, Mac OS, Sony PRS-505..." in the "Supported Devices" column. That link leads to: http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Digital-...hat-devices-can-I-view-my-eBook-on/ta-p/31639.

On the page, http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/the-everyday-idiots-guide-to-web-hosting/17989072, the site lists "Available in EPUB for Adobe Digital Editions Format" above the "Add to cart" button and "File Format EPUB for Adobe Digital Editions" under "Product Details" on the page.

According to http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Digital-...hat-devices-can-I-view-my-eBook-on/ta-p/31639, the EPUB format is indeed compatible with the iPad and other devices, but EPUB (Digital Editions) is not.

Hi.

Now I see what you mean.

Okay. Currently the eBook version of the book is compatible with Adobe Digital Edition, which is free to download from Adobe.
The eBook is currently pending distribution to iBookstore and Nook. When this happens the book will then be compatible with all other formats, such as iPhone, iPad ect. This is something Lulu will do once Apple and B&N approve the book. This is the case with all eBooks being distributed as ePUB for inclusion on iBook Store and NOOK.

The Paperback version can be purchased directly from Lulu.Com but in the coming weeks will also be available from Global Distribution services, such as Amazon US and Amazon UK.

No worries.
If anyone wants the PDF version of it, drop me a PM with your email address. Only $1.99

The book is now listed on the iBookstore and on Barnes & Noble for the Nook.
So it is now suitable for the iPhone and Nook.
