Takes forever for the download dialog to pop up on ADSL on Pacific Internet in Singapore.



ADSL is totally hopeless in other countries.

[edit]now the download dialog doesn't open, but i'm getting a bunch of As.


[edit2]i switched something on and 1.8MB/sec for the first one.

[edit3]well i cleared my cache and tested first one again.


1.8MB in 35sec


52.8kb/sec.

I'm in Dallas, Texas. So I'll have to try this out as soon as my other downloads are done. BTW, what do I open this with? If I can't open the URL, should I use a program then or what? Which one?

16 MB received in 15 seconds (1.07 MB/sec)

That's from my server at InterNAP in Boston. It seems a bit sluggish comapred to what I get from other servers.

Why in the world do I get such good speed when downloading the 1.8mb.zip?
The speed is much higher compared to when I download from other places.

What speed do u get :

1.8mb.zip: 6KB/s

My friend also got better speeds with that file, he normally downloads at around 6KB/s and the highest he got with that file was around 11KB/s.
