I am hosted with Hostgator.com, and I used their program "basekit" to build my website.
It has had a SSL certificate on the domain, since the day I built it.
I had mod rewrite enabled to always show https in the address bar. Never had an issue with it.
Now all of a sudden, if you went to view the website, it would show the content and pictures all distorted.
Well now Hostgator claims that you cannot use a SSL certificate with basekit or the distortion will happen. I find that some BS, since it has been on it for over 2 years, and NEVER happened before.
Does anyone know what I can do to get it to work like it did before?
I currently have the modrewrite code cut out so the site will display properly, but I need the SSL to show up for security with my customers.
Only thing Hostgator is telling me, is to switch programs, but I am not taking the time to re do the entire site. I dont have the time for that crap.
