How can I check the speed of my host ?!?

my site : www.signup.co.il
host : www.webpoint.co.il

Is it fast ??

Bring up a DOS promt anr type:

ping YourURLWithoutHTTP [HIT ENTER]

That's it.

When I did ping www.signup.co.il, this is what I got :
blah bla
blah
approximate round trip times in milli-seconds :
Minimum = 124ms Maximum = 154ms avarage = 140 ms

is it good ??

You have to compare it to something else to know. It depends on your connection speed and so on. Ping fws for comparison.

Exactly. That's why I'm surprised to see a 900ms ping. When I ping FWS I get around 50 and around 30 for my site.

And the site isn't slow for you?

I get 160ms for his site and 178 for fws right now. Seems equally fast in the browser too. (My connection is slow at the moment.)

It's relatively slow, but not that bad. It reminds me of when I used dialup.

I don't trust ping. I always got a real good ping for my f2s sites, but were they fast? Nooooooo!
