I have a Gigabyte mainboard with 6 USB ports, IE 4 at the back, two at the front of the case. One time when I was attempting to reinstall XP they just stopped working, so I got into the BIOS of the system to check to see whether it was enabled, and they were. In windows the USB Controllers were shown in the device manager, but my USB mouse wouldn't work, neither would the printer, and everything in the BIOS was OK. So I unplugged everything and let it rest for a few hours, and when I came to plug it all back in again and reboot, to my surprize USB worked, what could of caused this problem?
