~News Posting Script

I am looking for a news posting script in php and uses a mysql database that ;allows users(user Management),some kind of control panel,comments for each post.Thats basically it but any extra features are welcome.

~Also on the side,I am looking for a file management system with top files,comments for each file,descriptions,file uploading,and any other features are welcome.Look'n toward a system like www.10-david.com uses for their files.

I think you need a portal app like...

... like dcp-portal or similar. It is rich of features. Just take a look and decide.

I suggest using a message board such as PHPbb and then using one of their hacks that can pull topics out of specifc forum to display on a different page.

It allows people to reply to posts using the message board... people to look at your profile and all the other features of a message board like smilies.

It's a little more difficult to set up than a normal news posting script but it has plenty of advantages.

I agree with http://www.nphp.net for news posting. I used Newspro for awhile and when my site got earsed I went to download it again and found that company that made it isn't around anymore. I've looked for the last week to find another New Publishing script that was easy to install and just today I found http://www.nphp.net, and I love it. Its just as good as newspro if not better!
