The right answer - create your blog on YouTube (you can use Tik Tok also) and make good, high-quality videos. Text blogs can be useful, but it's more for business when a company has a website, and for SEO traffic they create blogs. If you are just an average webmaster - YouTube will be better for you.

Blogging has changed quite a bit. I wouldn't start a blog today just to put ads on it and wait for traffic.

A better approach is to build a small audience around one useful topic and then make money in a few different ways.

For example, you can:

• Write helpful articles that solve real problems
• Add relevant affiliate recommendations
• Build an email list
• Sell a simple digital product, template, or guide
• Offer a service related to your niche
• Add ads later when your traffic grows

I think affiliate marketing + your own digital product is one of the more interesting combinations for a small blog. You don't necessarily need hundreds of thousands of visitors if the people reading your content actually need what you're recommending.

The main thing I'd avoid is writing random AI-generated articles just to publish more posts. I'd rather publish fewer articles that genuinely answer questions people are searching for.

So for me, the "new way" isn't really one secret method. It's useful content + a specific audience + more than one income source.
