The colour scheme is ok, it looks a lot like many other sites i have seen.
Everything looks good except one thing, the text on the banner, i dont like how the R is 2 colours, make it one or the other, the whit to black is good, just not on one letter. Also i would make the text all the same font rather than 2 different ones.
