If you are providing web hosting service, it is recommended that you have your own website.
Or else, people will think, if you are not able to even run your own website, how can they trust you for hosting their website?

I did not think that you a noob or anything.
What I mean is, you should have get everything ready before promoting your current branding.
Or else, you should have use your older branding to promote your service, until your new brand is ready.
