  I learned perl first and so am better at writing scripts with it.

  Currently learning and trying to make php versions of my perl scripts
• ASP
  I am learning XML and messing with Microsoft's XML Parser to write some scripts.
• JSP
  More hosts need to offer this!!
• SSI
  Some hosts don't offer this!

I've found several hosts that offer everything I want except JSP . I really would like to find host that offered that with everything else I want.

Well some features are more native to linux while some of them are more native to windows.
