I would agree in most cases but I have come across a great host with 5GB space and 100GB BW for $5/month. They are totally reliable too. Their support is great. All my questions were answered within minutes too..

So, just to say, nothing is impossible... So, don't be 100% certain!

hmmm .. never had any problems with the host, and they advertise all over the net - they are in Canada - gave me a static ip address, however not too many mysql databases, response is about 4hours .. never a problem, but I seen these forums and thought I'd ask cause we have a new site going up! Someone sent me a link for powweb and there pricing looks good also ?

Have you ever used even 50% of the alloted bandwidth ?
I guess not, as I had said above, normally such hosts would ask you to leave when you start using that much of bandwidth.

Just take this example, even a good celeron server with whm, fantastico & some other stuff costs around $100/month which would have around 1000 GB Bandwidth. Now if you sell 100 GB Bandwidth for $5, you'll make only $50 out of the server!

No company would like to go in loss & hence they are definately overselling & if they are really not overselling, then the company would be closed in near future for sure.

ohboy its good that ur host is reliable than why not stick with them if as u said they are reliable and had no problems with them. Than why seeking another host?

But max that i can offer is 15gb space 200gb bw for 16$ a reseller account . And if that is too expensive for 200gb bw than i doubt u will find anyone who can give u 200gb for 4.95$ .
