- FTP access
- !!!!FREE!!!!
- UmMetered Bandwith

Im trying to set up an ikonboard.

http://free.prohosting.com is the only place i can think of. They dont like ikons being hosted tho

It's not your business to comment on which board he would like to choose. You should at least give some supporting reasons on why phpBB is better than Ikonboard. Anyway, I've been more impressed by the features in Ikonboard than phpBB, despite Ikonboard being such a resource hog.

They don't have sendmail, which is a requirement for all newer versions of Ikonboard. Also, there is NO host that likes message boards being hosted on their server. No matter how minimalistic the board is (even phpBB 2.x), it will still hog up tons of transfer and resources once many people start hosting message boards. The only boards that hosts like are the most basic WWWBoards and MiniBB, which has very few features.

That miniBB is pretty nice!

I think all those features are not being used much anyway. People like to post and read messages, that's all.
