My First Ever Template!!! PSD

that looks like the creation of some very experienced webmaster.
the right column is difficult to read and it looks a bit congested.
the site looks dark and gloomy.
but you have done a great work and as this is the first template, you can create very good templates as you gain experience
 
i hope the right menu is easy to ready when the template is complete, but it looks great. all game sites seem to be dark for some reason, but you did an awsome job. :D
 
Well I really appreciate all the comments and suggestions about what looks like what!!! Ill keep all in mind!!!

Anti-spyware "the site looks dark and gloomy" What do you mean by that? So I can take that into consideration and change the template to make it not look Dark and Gloomy!!!

And Yes your right... It was not all made from cratch... About 10 Percent of the Template was Totorials and 90 % From expirence with Photoshop for 4 years now... Obviously not alot.. But i plan on going to shooling on Webdesign along with graphics and animation!!! So Please dont critize my work with your ubseen comments!!! Thank you!

that is definetely a very good tempalte for a first timer. it seems as though it was made by a pretty experienced webdesigner. good job!
 
did you used to make a lot of banners back in your photoshop days? that would explain why it doesn't look like a typical first site.
 
Its a alright design, the the text detracts from the website. Your trying to look around the place, and I keep coming back to look at the bland and unincorporated fonts stuck on. Try blending, overlays, colour dodging, anything :).

I hope you do realise however, that once you actually "make" the template, you wont be using any of those texts on the buttons, nor most of the site because no site is just an "image".
 
Thats for the comments!!! And Yes I do plan on using all the text and buttons!!! Theres no reason why I cant!!! Dont worrie... When the site is up ill let you know!!! Thank you!
 
take the bavel down on the bottons so that they are more legiable. it is hard to read them with how big the bevel is, and then you have such dark text on them. make the text a light color.
 
people need to learn alternative ways of doing that bevel emboss sucks never use it :p

you can get a much better effect using inner shadow and outer shadow if u know what your doing...
 
Im actualy new to making templates so W.E brings my eyes attention to somthing I think its a good idea and what not... But thats just me and I posted my template up to have everyone comment on it so That is that and I will take into consideration as to what everyone is saying.... Thanks alot!!!
 
All I can say is ... wow, this is your first ever template!? Looks damn sweet.

I would say to increase the opacity of the login box, so it's very close to opaque but a bit transparent.

Also, don't use Times New Roman. Ever. Unless if you're designing a site that requires it or you're writing an essay. Replace it with something like Verdana or Arial (though I'm not a big fan of Arial.)

Overall, this looks extremely sick even if this wasn't your first creation. But it was, and that's awesome. Great theme! I look foward to look at your future creations :)
