Moving registrars?

I'm trying to get one of my (few) domains at dotster.com to gkg.net. Now i've already requested the transfer at gkg.net, replied to their email claiming "yes i want the domain transfered here" and i've already given my payment info...

How long is this supposed to take because i did all of this about a week ago. Is there anything i need to do on the dotster side (i checked all over but couldn't find anything to transfer domains FROM a registrar, only TO one).

yes, you need to tell doster or else gkg.net don't know whether you are real owner of the domain.
