Monitoring user accounts

What is the best way to monitor user content once the number of user accounts starts to grow?

In the beginning its easy to randomly visit user sites and see what they are doing. As the numbers grow it becomes harder and harder.

Just wondering what others have found to work best.

It is not possible to monitor all. Usually content removed uppon abuses or demand of DC. If you found out that customer is breaking rule- you can send him the warning. If he doesn't do nothing- terminate his acount.

It is better to hire moderators to keep a record of whatever is being posted. This will help you delete spam and warn members breaking rules and guidelines.

Monitoring every user account will be impossible , you can do configuration to prevent abuse and then on reports or demands you can monitor the risky users.

Less clients can be easy to manage and monitor. You have to check wrong things done by this clients using scripts and mannual check.

The best thing to do is install some kind of automated software solution on the server that scans all the activity. ConfigServer eXploit Scanner (cxs) is good and immediately quarantines files that contain malicious code for things like PHP-Shells.
