Microsoft Kills CZ.CC & Dotfree For Spamming

10 of my project sites got shutdown because of this... :( It ruined everything for me...

How about this then...buy a real domain? Then your projects aren't going to be ruined. Also, none of your sites got shut down because of this. They simply aren't getting listed in the search engines. How did that shut down your project?

But seems like there are a lot of "Free Hosting Company" here do not know the fact that free domains like co.cc, .tk is not something that they should use for running a web hosting services.

We have disallowed free domains on our services for quite some time now. No way are we going to support these "companies".

No, cz.cc is actually down. Microsoft killed BotNet making the site useless. It doesn't even load... :( And why bother purchasing domains for small scripting projects?

Interesting. Why not just use a subdomain of your other domain, or simply an IP address? You don't need a domain for scripting projects.

Yeah, most of the time, they invite spammers and people to host warez and porns, although in the TOS/AUP, already stated all these are not allowed.
And they even dare to argue about why are these contents are not allowed when I send them warning to remove all those contents that violated the TOS/AUP.

who -repped me saying "Who told you to use free stuffs to build your "dream"?". I used it for small personal projects... -_-

Excuse me. If everyone is posting a post saying that they receive a -rep, I think this whole forum will be full with these kinds of post, rather than any constructive replies.

No, they're just small service things that I work on that need to have a live site. Hosting is no problem, it's just that cz.cc stupidly shutdown... :(

At http://www.namecheap.com you can get a .net/.com/.org for $10 per year, or a .info for only $3 per year. I mean, 3 bucks a year is nothing, and you won't have to worry about your domain being seized from a botnet investigation. Unless you're using it to control a botnet.

Why don't you just use a subdomain off of one of your normal domain names. For instance I do a fair bit of development of my code on devbench.seraphimlabs.net. It's better to just sub off of one of your own than mess around with free domain names that could die at any time. And as a web host you should actually have a couple of domain names- your big one is your company name, but it's good to have at least one other that you can use when giving clients free subdomains. Google often gets confused by subdomains, if you put clients on subdomains of your main name those clients can appear in search results for your own name. May or may not be a good thing, especially if it is a client that could get your domain name blacklisted.

I'm just wondering about all of the unwanted messages I'm getting from Adobe and Microsoft, as well as all of the Google bots that are crawling all of the Mail Boxes and Websites. OK, they are not supposed to be malicious, but when I was loading Mozilla Firefox 7.1 a week ago, I was lucky that it provided a list of conflicting software, that included my Kaspersky anti-virus software. When I reformatted my computer hard drive this weekend, the technician who did it for me only had Norton Anti-Virus available, and strangely enough, no problem this time round with loading Mozilla Firefox 7.1. Moral of the story, I wonder how much harm our computer systems are being subjected to by "legal" software.

If not mistaken, Logan does not have his own domain name.
Both domain name in his signature does not own by him.
If memory serves me right, he is just a "partner" of those hosts.
