in general, it's a bit too simplistic. On the other hand, that does give it a sense of seriousness (as long as you have the right/good info).
As far as how well it relates to finances (that's the topic, right?)... Green's not bad (as all american money is green), but i don't think finances has a specific color. Perhaps it would do better with a money bill (i don't know indian currency, sorry) sort of see-through background header image (behind your title: "Indian IPO Blog - News and Details about latest IPOs in Indian Stock Market"). Then base your color scheme off of that?
Also, if possible (which, i guess, it isn't), change the blogger bar to a similar color.
