Guys just wondering here how many gibs with same image work for so many hosting companies ? and how come mrs Ricket who is a air hostess according to thorny , be on support picture for jdcomputers? This is strange and my head is spinning.

Now how come an air hostess according to someone be on support team, and who is this gibs as he is managing 2 hosting companies (thats not strange ) but than who is thorny and jdcomputers if manage is Gibs? Are they just salesmen?

Nothing personal against anyone but why use some persons photos without their copyright on the site? so i would be interested if anyone of those 2 guys can provide some written proof that the users gave their permission to post their image on their sites? or are they just models? :nervous: I think there are more sites with mr gibs picture and mrs rickets picture out there right ? anyone else seen those pictures before? And if so is it legal to use pictures of such people on your site , cause i would like to use some people faces on the site also , so can someone direct me to some legal site where i find and use such models images?

They would just be stock photography included with the templates. Both hosting businesses probably bought template from the same place. How authentic the testimonials are is anyone's guess. :)

My guess is non-authentic, thorny was confident when he said that the person gibs was manager and mrs ricket was just hostess , but she seems to be on support team for jdcomputer. :biggrin2:

Now I know who was ripping my business site to his hard disk. Funny how when he first downloaded our site down to his hard disk, I kept getting tracking hits from "localdisk". It was about two days ago.

Whole blocks of our site was "copied straight over". Taking screenshots of all of them right now.

JPComputes, you give Thorny real trouble for being "kiddy" (http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=81986) and all in the other thread. But in this thread, having looked at your site and Thorny's - Thorny's site looks much better.

And you ought to really change those tables and words you happily copy pasted off our site. We spend a lot of money, time and effort on our website. It's a little cheap to copy paste.

I hope you take this request at heart and remove our tables and words, and come up with something of your own.

yes those photos are stock imagery, dunno where JD has got them from because looking at it he's been looking around a few sites looking for things, as explained above. Those images have come from a photo Imagery cd i got free with some computer magazine. The testemonials are however unique and are completed by the people themselves. I did not want to put a picture of the actuall person up because of protection etc. I just thought it would be a bad idea. If you wish to talk further on this matter then please pm me or MSN me one of the two. Im now starting to think some people are out to get me, is that true???

I think its time u sent dmca notice to their isp to take their server offline if they do not compile with ur request. And lol this is funny :

We dont have a direct link for the testemonial page. I do have the msn conversation saved somewhere i thik tho, or the file i saved all of them in, not too sure though, i will try and find it for ya buddy!!

You're right about that! I guess there are more than a few kiddie hosts on here a1whs, what can I say. Thorny, don't dwell on these kind of things. Everyone is just trying to compete. There were a few threads from people who had no experience with Nextbox, just bashing it. FWS is a breading ground for kiddie hosts, so you learn to deal with it.

Well I wouldn't go far as that personally.

Firstly the site looks like it's still at work (Can anybody see the flash header?) this person took parts of our site (tables), not a complete site rip. But still it's not something I appreciate and is definately not on - especially from somebody who was looking below at another person and was presenting himself as "better than whoever"

Hey James, yes we copied over the tables, if this is a problem i will gladly have it changed, as for the design, we purchased it via templatemonster some time ago. the images of people are stock. we dont have any testiomials on our site, so non are fake.. the images just look better then plane text so for now we are leavinmg it.

As for text on my site, we are editing it, we were just getting the stock information on before we start working out the details. Again James, if you wish i have no problem chaning the tables. In regards to coping files to harddisk. This would have been at my home were we were testing a program called offlineviewer. however I can assure you no other files were used, other then the tables for hosting. Again, if you wish ill remove them.

Again want to clear up the gibs and such, no.. there just images, and were it says sales, and such thats going to be for applications to that jobs, images look good for there spots hence them on the site.

If there is anything I don't understand: You told me on AIM that it was your designers fault that he copied the tables. I doubt any designer would do this and if you had a designer why would you need a template? In anycase that is your business with your designer. And may I say - a very bad designer.

Yes I think it would be best if you removed the tables that are too similar (same) to those ones on our site.

Again. I appreciate your response.

Let us stop the discussion on this topic.
 
I was talking to James, about changing my site so its not relecting his table look.

I never ripped his site, we had copied the style of table for showing plans. Not his site, the stlye of table is not illegal to use, he just doesnt want us to have the exact look. Hopefully that clears it up

You ripped the pages to your hard drive and copy pasted chunks of the site. With the same wordings of features, same tables, same tick images. It was blatent. Not even a - inspired and uniquely modified. A designer did this? You did this.

I was furious to find the tables still there, today. Roughly 2 weeks now.

Only removed now, due to my wording over AIM. Not convinced about the designer gone holiday excuse. You kept the designer?

Very disappointed. But finally removed. Case closed.
 
Oh sorry to hear about that james that someone ripped ur site, but the one who did should be ashamed :( and atleast say "sorry for his acts"
