Free webhosting in NL, great speed with Lighttpd and Kloxo control panel

Hi,

I've got a server which I currently use for some fairly small tasks, emails and things. So I'd like to offer some of the extra space and bandwidth I'm not using, I have no brand, so I don't need anything like advertising on your site. The server is very fast, has good ping times and is running on a 1Gbit port. I'm willing to offer space on the basis of need to users, but there is plenty available. The control panel is Kloxo, and I'm happy to host space, email, MySQL and anything else web hosting related. If you'd like an account then please contact me: admin@fs5.co.uk, specifying your website info / domain and requirements. I'd prefer to host static sites, but dynamics sites are also ok, and I won't host anything that is illegal, pornographic or similar!

Note: I don't take any responsibility for data loss and you should back up your site regularly for your own purposes. The server is RAID10 covered and also daily backup's are taken, but even so I still don't take responsibility for the data, as this is a free offer.

Hi,

Just to give some more info on the hosting, I've setup a resource plan which includes:

1 addon domain and nameserver hosting / dns management
5 subdomains
5 email accounts
3 Mysql databases
PHP / CGI, and rails, ssl and install app supported
500MB disk space
5GB bandwidth

Price: FREE

I've also got a email only and domain / dns plan setup, for those who want that.

The machine is currently underused but is a e3-1230v2, with plenty of ram and disk space hosted in the Netherlands. Backups are easy to do through the panel, and the server is backed up regularly.

Yeah, those are rare, especially for a highly demanded TLD like co.uk.
There are actually quite a few now with .pw just out (got mine already)

Yeah it's mostly for convenience, for when people ask for my email addy.
