i have a php chat room site currently thats a sub site of the main site - www.clublk.us and do u ppl allow chatrooms, pls the chatroom site dun have a page rank either and yo sepcs for the 1st plan 100mb, and 25,000 gb fits my basic needs.....

Nice hosting, but don't expect anything to work on it. They have major problems with their servers that they really need to fix. They do not have Apache or PHP configured properly. GZIP Compression is disabled, they don't allow any kind of attachment I have tried so far, and the tech support is quite slow.

I have to admit I was very excited when I signed up and saw everything that was offered with CPanel and FTP and everything, but unfortunately, their server configurations do not allow my website to function properly. Anything using PHP and GZIP compression will not work and you can't have any kind of attachment other than images.

It wasnt our server, it was fantastico's problem, we have been working with them directly to get this problem fixed. We understand about the error's. But we fixed them within a few hours, Gzip is on the server alone with many other items. If you would have read the post on the forums that i posted back to you, you wouldnt have posted in here.

But as good as we are, i will respect that you got free hosting and still bad talking us. But hey thanks okay, We have seemed to have all the problems fixed at this point.

Unless they've done dramatic changes within the past 3 days, most of the scripts included with Fantastico will not function properly, especially image galleries or portals. Also, when submitting data through PHP scripts (posting through forums, or other scripts), you will be strangely redirected to ez-freehosting.com's front page at total random times when the script is supposed to redirect to the next page, even though the address bar still shows the URL which should have been displayed. This seems to only happen with Mozilla Firefox, but it only happens with this host on Firefox, and none others. Hitting refresh loads the page correctly. I've experienced this problem while posting or editing posts via Invision Power Board (gzip had to manually be disabled via the config script in order for me to even be able to get it running in the first place), as well as posting or editing content using the Drupal portal. Besides those problems, the hosting is quite good with no down time at all. I'm not complaining, just stating my experiences. I appreciate the hosting for what it is....free, but if you really need solid php/mysql hosting you might have to look elsewhere.
