Renaming does the same thing does it?
If it cant find the file, it wont load the file.
my kazaa still works with this file renamed...

anyone can goto www.newsave.net and refresh the pages a couple of times and tell me if both banners load each time?

Just the skyscraper I see, not even a broken image for the regular banner. Have you placed all the code in your html?
 
I discovered something more :(

I went on the other site I host (www.speed-freak.net) and the ads showed. I refreshed a couple of times and they've stopped showing now too, just like on my account. What is going on????


Jan, are YOUR ads showing on YOUR site?
 
The ads show for me the first time, then they just show blank images after I refresh, even when I visit the included pages.
 
They were probably just cached or something....

Anyone knows anyone that had similar problems?
Also, anyone ever contacted fastclick about something? How much time does it take them to reply?

Yes they are and now they show on your newsave site :) I think I have only had to email fastclick once and from memory (2001) they replied within 12 hours. They appear to have had some sort of server problems yesterday so that may have slowed their response to you.

In the event Fastclick cannot serve a paying ad to a visitor to your site,
we then display one of the default campaigns you have set up in your
account. If you have never created your own default campaign, then we have
defaulted to a public service ad from the Ad Council which you did not earn
revenue from.

The contract that allowed Fastclick to serve the Ad Council public service
ads has expired. Until we find a new provider for our default campaign, all
non filled ad requests that do not have a custom default campaign set up in
the users account will be served a blank image or single pixel.

If you do not wish to serve a blank image or single pixel, you must create
your own default campaign. In the Campaigns section for banners and
skyscrapers, click on the Add a Default button to set up a default campaign.
You may use another ad networks ad code or create your own banner to fill
this space. If you wish to continue to use the Ad Council banners and
skyscrapers as your default you can go here

Geez.... 95% of ads dont appear.
Thats why I moved from focusin to fastclick.
Now where do I go?
Stay with both?
fastclick + if no ads then focusin code

or try with advertising.com ????

Suggestions?
 
i use fastclick.com with a default banner from bride.ru with 0.10+ per unique click, they get alot of clicks too. works fine.

Ahumm....

I AM in Canada and when I refresh my site, I only get ads like 5% of the time. Well, not sure about about exact number, but ALOT, and I mean ALOT don't show up.

Maybe it's because I only selected cpm ads in fastclick, but geez, so little ads to serve?
