DantoBB is an Open Source software package developed using PHP and a MySQL backend. Unlike other established bulletin board systems, DantoBB is not packed with features. Instead, it was built with simplicity and usability in mind.

DantoBB is an ideal community solution for the small to medium sized website, which require an easy to use system without the issues that come with bulges of features. Hi Tang.

At this time and so early in development, there is really no advantage over say MyBB or IPB.
However, DantoBB is very easy to install (in seconds) easy to configure and run. Loads faster than most forum software and boasts a nice clean user-friendly interface.
V. 1.5 however, when it is released, will obtain some features that are on other forums, such as PMs, Polls, Sub Forums, Usergroups etc, and will also eventually have an auto-installer and upgrader that will do everything during install and upgrade, such as auto create the database etc. Ideal for the noobie.
At this time though, DantoBB is an ideal solution for small to medium communities that do not require the bulk of features found on other forum software packages.
