Do I have to worry about the mainboard being compatable with it, Ie I am thinking of purchasing a GA-7N400-L1 mainboard, do I have to worry about the case being compatable with it?

You just need to me sure the case supports the form factor of the motherboard.
Most PC cases available today support AT, ATX, and MicroATX. Although finding a power supply for AT motherboards might be a challenge. On the other hand, finding an AT motherboard would be even a BIGGER challenge.
The majority of motherboards on the market are ATX form factor, and so are the majority of the cases, so compatability is rarely an issue.
On a side note: Anybody have a slot A motherboard they don't want? (ATX form factor) The motherboard in my linux router went TU
I have all these lovely old legacy pieces parts and no board.
