Adsense new interest based ads - more earnings?

Yesterday was the first day of Google Adsense using the new interest-based advertising.

As I understand it, users will now see ads from things they have shown an interest in. Maybe they visit skiing sites and movie sites and will now see movie ads at the skiing site. This instead of (or rather combined with) how it's been up to now - ads related to the content of the site they are visiting.

I think this will result in higher earnings, what do you think?

Is that what the last privacy policy change is all about?

I think it should help... Since the visitors will be shown ads that they are interested at... That's nice...

Anyway, wouldn't it be funny seeing (for example) ads about cooking recipes in sites like FWS? :D LOL (Lets say I just visited a website about cooking :p )

That is a great feature for both publishers and advertisers.

Luckily Google don't allow porn ads, otherwise some people might get porn ads appears on their screens while working. Haha~

I don't believe that it will impact much on the earning of a website but more so with the displaying of unrelated and irrelevant material.

I agree it will produce a greater ROI. In fact, it will likely produce much more income for free hosts now, which is huge! :)

Adsense new interest based ads more earnings

Same here, my site is still new and I dont have that much time right now to write more articles for my site. Im not earning that much with Google adsense right now because Im not doing any SEO yet.

I wasn't aware of them implementing this but our revenue has been increasing on Google, so maybe this is the cause. We did have a big drop off late last year and the beginning of this year which I figured was the economy.
