Anyone got any coments about Adpowerzone ??

Did anyone get any notification on their multipopsystem. When a visitor hits a page using their pop-under ads, a small window opens, and keeps on sending pop-under ads. This window seem only to be stopped by closing down the entire browser.

I think that at least they could have send a mail, regarding their new "system", then I could have decided to stay or go to another company.

Yep they seem to be back on-line...

My point is, would a person go back to such a page, if they know that they are going to have their browser "sabotaged" ?? I know that I would not, or do it as the last thing I do, before I turn off my computer... My second point, I did not receive any mail, about their new system, has anyone, that uses/used Adpowerzone received any ??? As I think that it is major change in the agrement.

Yes I just tried it in IE and only got one. But I would suggest you and lfc7607 email them and find out what they are up to.

And to answer lfc7607's query - NO I wouldn't revisit a site that spawned heaps of popups :devious2:
 
I'm confused.....

I'm glad that Supermoo also got trapped... But now it seems like they have gone back to their old one popunder ad ????? :confused: :confused:

The problem about emailing them, is that they do not answer. Well that is not true, because after I do not know how many, but at least 6 mails, I wrote to them that I was going to file a complaint at the FBI internet fraud center. The complaint was on their change in pop-under ad politics, and I did also not agree with their counting.... their responce was to close my account, and when I asked why, their response was that they did not like to be accused of fraud... And they have not answered any mails, and I have now given up.

My "mission" was to warn webmasters of theire new "trapping" politic, but as they now seem to have abandond it. I therefore let this case rest...

Oh no... MindRash....

No no no.... I'm not an evil one...:D What I meant was, I was glad that someone else saw the problem, as there were problems, with the link, then Adpowerzone, was down, and finally they have gone back to one pop system.... With all that my credibility could be very low, if no one else had experiensed to be traped in their multipop system....:D :D :D

hehe. I'm glad someone's looking out for me MindRash! ;)

Although, as lfc7607 said that pop-up cycle was dreadful. Personally, I would no longer do business with any company that suddenly changed from a one pop-up system to that "infinite" pop-up system, without notice. :( But that's just a personal opinion.
 
yeah, i used adpowerzone for about a month and had visitors complain to me about both 3, 4 and 5 pop-ups or pop-unders (big difference)... they also seem to be cheating you pretty bad, less than 10% of my unique hits was counted by them, it could be that 90% of my visitors had pop up killers or closed the window right away but i sorta doubt it...

when i emailed them before signing up asking them a question about freehosted sites i got a response in like 6 hours but when i emailed them several times (the first politely asking them for an explanation for them drowning my visitors in popups, they became less and less polite as more time went without a reply) i got no reply at all...
 
"customers" relation

I don't know but is it not strange that they have NO problem signing you up, answering questions before you sign up. But when you are in their system, they do not seem to care anymore, well they might even have an economic incentive to "scare" you away. I wonder how many $ are left by affiliates leaving a system for some reason. I think that we are talking BIG BUCKS.
