What do you mean, the whole ftp-thing ? You have a ftp-client and upload your page from your harddisk to your webhoster, and evtl. you can dowload logs or backups with ftp. ( BTW: ftp : file transfer protocol ;) ) It is much more handy than a browser. Or did you meant it another way?

It is very handy, because you see who answers and who asks. There is no need to keep the topic starter in mind during readin the thread. Yes of course a board can life without it, with no problems, but if you once have used it, you wlll admire it :)

What I personally like in V3 is the number of categories.It is good, that you can see, where you get MySql and where PHP, where you do have trafficlimit etc. If I know, what I need I only look at the categories. In V4 you don't have this opportunity, but it's good that it is divided in space.

I also share the oppinion, that FAQ V.3 is more detailed and more userfriendly. Maybe it is possible to mix the positive things of the both FAQs.
