Lots of mysql still requires constant monitoring thougj and people will always sneak a nuke site on, sure of that.
I will talk with our sysadmin about limiting mysql though. If we could limit each script to so many mysql connects for instance...

We are setting up a free hosting service and just wanted to bounce some ideas of the members here with lots of experience with free hosts. The service will have:
Custom control panel
Decent address (yourname.host.com)
File Manager
WYSIWYG editor
FTP support
Webmail system...
$15/mo for 35gb is a bit unrealistic. Sure, a host will sell his mother to get a client these days but anyone that sells too cheap are just going to go out of business quick or overload their servers.
Seems a shame that alot of "hosts" (clears throat) just patrol hosting forums to get a bid...
If you have no advertising budget then you need to focus on your local market. If you know about optimising your site for the search engines, that can help alot and we do get alot of traffic that way. The advice I give to our resellers (typically on a small budget), is to team up with a design...

Anyhow, if someone wants reliable hosting and a host that is going to be still alive at the end of year's contract, I advise you pay at least $30. Forty bucks is more reasonable.
