If you guys check, we ARE using 1.3 Final, and nothing higher than that. It says Unregistered because back then, 1.3 was completely free under a free license. So Unregistered doesn't mean much except it doesn't have a license and I won't get support from IPB for it.

Anything up to 1.3.1 is allowed for free hosting. Since the license was still free back then. Only IPB versions above 2.0.0 is not free and is illegal for hosting use.

you can use the forward function on uni.cc domains to forward to your forums. This is a forum host. It'll be instantly activated into a /dir folder.

that host is probably making up reasons to kick you off his server. Or your site is too much for their server at the price you pay. You won't find 3gigs of space and 100gigs of bandwidth for around $10, you should increase your budget to at least $50 a month.

Actually, unlicensed is what you are looking to hear when it comes to fansubs. Since it isn't licensed by any companies in America, you won't get into trouble. If the anime is "licensed", hosting it will get you in to legal troubles.

you're asking for IPB 2.0.0 for free? That's illegal unless someone is generous enough to buy you a license :).

you won't find anyone offering both free domains and free hosting unless you have a website getting over 10000 uniques a month.
