November 26 Added Internet-Pilots (see free organizations page), The techs (see game site hosting page, thanks Killfreak), Dove ent and Get-the-web (thanks Mr Free). Removed Internet-club (has been down for a long time now, thanks everybody).
November 24 Added NerdAmerica (thanks Kevin, owner of NerdAmerica), J-International (thanks Steve Huber), FX Freeweb (Romania, thanks Armin). Removed game host Crystallized. Also added a free host for Christian organizations ChurchSurf (thanks Ed Stadick). This is what ChurchSurf has written on their Terms of Agreement page regarding what content they allow on users sites:

We realize that there are many regulations. To simplify this task, just ask yourself "What Would Jesus Post?" if Jesus had a web site.

November 23 Removed Userworld (not free anymore, thanks Dustin Alligood) and BRInet (thanks Brian Bennet, owner of BRInet).
November 22 Added 3D Retreat (game host, thanks Adir). Removed Blinx.net (thanks everybody).
November 21 Some minor improvements for the new search function mentioned yesterday. It's now possible to search the server info in the reviews also. For instance if you are looking for hosts that are on Unix servers you could search for "unix". This wasn't possible until now, since the server info was hidden in SSI include files. Sorry about that...;) The search function is here. Updated the info for the free game site host Crystallized (thanks Paul Hayes, admin at Crystallized).
November 20 New search function added
You can now search the FreeWebspace.Net site for any keyword or search string. Searchable directories include the reviews, voting area, news, guide and help section. You can't search the message boards via this search function. A new solution for searching the message boards will be ready when the new message boards are ready.

There are also some small changes to the design of the main page today.

Added Respublica (french, thanks Chubby and Philippe Jacques, webmaster of Respublica), Tripod Italia and Tripod France (thanks Adam Hope). Also added the free game site host IGG (thanks GOS).
November 18 More than 300.000 visitors...! Added EuropaPark, Tripod Nederland (dutch, thanks mw) and VietTexas (non profit organizations).
November 16 Added SerifCities (thanks civet), H&H devel (thanks E Goldstein) and ApaSiapa (indonesian, thanks QB). Datacom now offer 2 MB (thanks Agum). Removed Techno2Day (thanks Nielz). Moved Webcom to free organizations page (thanks Bengt Olof Hedvall).
November 14 Added BattleZone (game sites, thanks Tristan Bresnen).
November 13 Added RTS Network (Real Time Strategy sites - other hosts, thanks Kristoffer), Multimania (french, Mygale is now a part of Multimania, thanks Serge Waseige) and Ciudad Digital (Argentina, thanks jorge saenz). Removed Mygale (thanks Serge Waseige), Free HP and Tony-Net (thanks Agum).
November 12 I'm back from the Internet World Sweden fair in Stockholm. Very interesting... It's the largest Internet fair in the world outside the US. Anyway, I will update this site later today or tomorrow when I've had a chance to read all your emails with updates and new free webspace providers. So, come back soon for the latest info.
November 5 Two 'new' free webspace providers added today: Tripod Deutschland and Tripod UK (thanks Chris Boross, Lycos UK). Notice that both of these local versions of Tripod offer 1 MB more space than the US version. And here is how Chris descriped the new UK version in an email to FreeWebspace.Net:

"...it will have tons of Uk based contents and events and competitions, its super fast for european users and we offer more space than tripod.com. The users will have a chance to decide how tripod Uk expands, with more of the things they want to see and less of the boring content of other free webspace sites."
November 4 Big news today...
Special server info is now available for reviewed free webhosts. Info include server performance (speed, reliability), server type, operating system and server location. Also added seven new reviews today: FreeServers, Free Speech, The Globe, ProHosting, Virtual Ave, WBS/Infoseek and Webjump. Removed Sweethomes since they apparently do not offer free space anymore.
November 3 Changed the URL for WBS/Infoseek (thanks Seth Dunn).
November 2 Three new questions at the Voting Area today. Which free host is the best now? FortuneCity won the last time (during summer). Vote here! Results from previous votes are also ready. Removed EclecticCity and HongKong ID (none of them accepts new sites).
