Breaking News
Most parts of the new improved database are ready
today. Changes so far:
9 new free
hosts added today: Nanohome (thanks
Frank Nordberg), Subnet (danish,
thanks Christian Jorgensen and trader), Phiberoptix
(thanks Mike Steinhilter, Phiberoptix), WhatTown
(thanks Eric Dunaway, WhatTown), SouthHosting
(thanks Justin), Websiteresources
(Michael, Websiteresources), NetworkQ
(thanks Neil Skirrow, NetworkQ), 8op
(thanks Brad) and Wiktor (danish
MTX).
Removed 37 (!) former free webspace providers... Most
of them are down, some of them are not accepting new
sites and a few of them have become paid webhosting
companies. I'm not going to list them all here, but
if you are interested in these, I will put them in
the removed services database shortly.
Other updates: Enjoy now offer 0.5 MB, Exit now offer
31 MB, German version of FortuneCity offer 20 MB,
Freepage now offer 20 MB, HH Devel now only offer 5
MB free, Nettaxi offer 10 MB and Mujweb offer 11 MB.
Maybe you have also noticed some design changes
today... Nothing special, I'm trying to focus on
updating info and improving the database. More free
webhosts and improvements for the advanced search
page coming soon. Send feedback and suggestions for
further improvements via the contact page. Thanks everybody
for your help. Now I think I'm going to sleep until
next weekend... LOL
